I didn't do a very good job with these; should have used blotting paper.

Nine pressed oak leaves (there's a tiny leaf hiding on top of the large leaf to the bottom left) sitting on a piece of white baking paper.

Found these pressed oak leaves when I was moving books off the pile beside my bed. Can't remember where I originally found them, or why there are so many of them.

Sonnenbeschienener Bereich des Kerepesi-Friedhofs (Kerepesi temető) in Budapest. Zwischen hohen Birken mit charakteristischer weißer, abblätternder Rinde, Kiefern und dichtem Efeu stehen alte Grabsteine. Links im Vordergrund eine große Birke, rechts ein weißer Grabstein mit ungarischer Inschrift, teilweise von einer kleinen Kiefer und Ranken überwuchert. Der Boden ist mit trockenen Blättern bedeckt. Herbs, greenery and a variety of roses in glass vases, a white planter in the shape of Edgar Allan Poe's head with a (dying) fern in it, a Cemeterrarium, a small block of clear resin with a plant specimen inside it, a clear crystal quartz point, a small, round, white ceramic plate with a chocolate-drizzled Florentine biscuit (a chewy confection of almond flakes, almond slivers, cherries and dried sultanas mixed with caramel sauce,) on it, and a glass teacup filled with rich, orange-coloured black tea.

Today's afternoon tea ... Australian Rainforest black tea with a chewy and delicious hand-made, choc-dipped Florentine from Cimino.
