Getting back on my prompt posting trend.
Weekly prompt: Reality, or our perception of it, defines our world. Today we examine how our characters experience reality, whether or not that perception is accurate.
As always, the time restriction is 20 minutes.
Too many of my books are going to have to have a thank you to #LeverageRedemption and it's primary show as I watch that it over and over while I write. It is a perfect balance of auditory cues, gags and I've watched it so many times I know what is happening on screen with the music.

Did I read @tkingfisher.com's A House with Good Bones and immediately get inspired to write a 7.5k horror story about a forest that eats people? Yes. Yes I did. Thank you. I think this is some of the best horror I've ever read.

Two years ago I agreed to help out on a project. There was no deadline, no compensation, just royalties. I kept trying but things kept getting in the way. Other paid obligations with hard deadlines, a wedding. I turned it in today and feel like a weight has been lifted. Here's to finishing projects!
The writing in #theresidence is so tight and connects so well, more mystery writers should study it.
