This is a tool to hang the drop spindles and there is also a piece which helps that the spindle stays straight during the unwinding process. A German wood crafter invented this. Maybe search at Etsy?!

The pair of #gumgumsocks jumped off my needles yesterday evening made out of 3 scrap sockyarns. They were started in September last year and became some kind of #UFO. I’m happy that now they are ✅ my daughter will be the recipient #sockknitting

#sundaymood yesterday was a big day for me my daughter came back from her semester abroad in South Korea. She brought some memories gifts to me as a small project bag a mug holder and sea shells. Spinning wise all #spindles are free again and #spindlespinning continues

All #spindles are full. Time to unload them. In the background you see my work around method winding on my singles #yarns on toilet paper rolls. It’s an economic and good method for storing my yarns, because I can also write on the rolls if I need to. Happy #spindlespinning

#knitting with your #handspunyarn I had leftovers from former project not enough for an entire new project and I had also a single ply industrial yarn in stash. 👀 a pattern for a poncho throw project and to knit this i combined several bits and pieces

Today I made a 2ply of #waldschafwolle with speckles of #surisilk. I like this tweedy look and feel of the yarn it becomes. Let’s be honest here this yarn is not a next to skin wearable yarn, but it will be perfect for an outdoor jumper or cardigan.
