A stack of rolags (rolled up spinning fiber) all lined up in a white cardboard box. Two colorways are separated by a small skein of yarn. Both colorways are red and purple, with the top ones being a little lighter with gold, and the bottom ones a little darker with brown. Materials for both colorways include Merino Wool, Tussah silk, Sari Silk Noil, and Angelina sparkles.
The first and lighter of the two colorways spun up on a bobbin. Shades of red, purple, brown and gold streak through the yarn.
The other yarn, overall darker with rainbow flecks, fills a bobbin. The colors are darker and more spooky. Brown and purple dominate the colorway with bits of red and rainbow sari silk noil.
Still experimenting with colorways for the @fiberwitchfestival.bsky.social in April. Some version of these will be in @kittywithacupcake.bsky.social s booth
These colorways are based on Persephone, Goddess of Spring and Queen of the Underworld.
