Day 26 #ImbolcSpin #fiber #challenge to #spin every day for at least 15 minutes. Today was a old project of Cormo.
Day 23 of #ImbolcSpin 23 days until #Ostara & the #equinox ~
Whooah, we're half way there - spinning canine hair. It's my plan and I'll make it - I swear (whooah) spinning canine hair.
Now for something completely different: #angoragoat spun thin & #plied to make a nicely rounded #yarn for this #ImbolcSpin #challenge.

#ImbolcSpin update days 20 & 21 ~ on the home stretch for the #greatpyrenees ~ the last #rolags have been #carded & are ready for #dropspindle #spinning. Looking forward to #knitting this #yarn into #fingerlessmitts.
Today #ImbolcSpin update: my rocinante of #fiberwork the #spinningwheel. This dual #roving #alpaca is called 'Northern Loon' and will -absolutely- #knit up to look like the speckled neck band of the #greatnorthernloon

Fiddling with a sample of bi-toned alpaca #roving from The Deep Stash™. Spun as 2-ply #fingering this 4oz (100g) of alpaca will be gloriously marled & soft. #Alpaca is easy to spin for thin for #lacework.
Will likely use the #Ashford #spinningwheel to spin this.
Day 16 #ImbolcSpin
Still working through #greatpyrenees, #alpaca, & several #wool types & colors.
I played with my #e-spinner, washed & fulled 2 plied skeins of GP.
All after returning from a #rescue transport that placed our #scottishterrier #fosterdog in his #foreverhome.
It was a busy day.
Day 15 #ImbolcSpin led me to a project pouch full of alpaca & a #TurtleMade 3D #dropspindle.
Today I've spun #alpaca, #southdown, and #greatpyrenees on my quest to spin everyday for 6 wks.

Deep in the colorful, fuzzy abyss known as "My Stash" was a stuffed ziploc of Rosie-fluff that threw itself into view.
So -
I'm back to spinning #GreatPyrenees and switching off with the #babydollsouthdown wool.

#Spinning green #wool but found two more bags of #greatpyrenees #fiber so, we'll be going back to GP soon.
Day 11 #ImbolcSpin
Now that the GP is done, moving on to #babydollsouthdown that spent years bullied by a ziploc bag. This springishly green fiber clings to itself - making a textured single.

Today's "helper" is River - who, herself, is has spinable fluff potential. Her undercoat is much like #Angora bunny.
