What happens to all that fibre I blended in a previous video?
I spin it into what we call singles and then I take those singles and make them into a plyed yarn. In this case a 3 ply yarn using a chain ply method.

This was my first time playing with fluorescent dyes, and it was a struggle! The colors moved unexpectedly in the dye bath, and got a little muddy, but the spin mostly balanced it out into a lovely gradient yarn.

Knitting two socks at one time on a long circular called knitting needle set. Yarn I hand dyed in black, yellow,and red, creating a speckled black, dark green, yellow, orange and red on white based yarn.
Dyed this yarn last week along with a few other combinations.

Zipper came in, added stabilizer, sewed, steeked, sewed in zipper. That was a bit nerve testing!
