CIDER SEASON
A 75k word upmarket contemporary romcom set in a struggling cider company, written by a 75kg upmarket contemporary woman who owns a struggling cider company.
Come for the romance, stay for the unflinching humor and irreplicable authenticity.

i highly recommend signing up!! i had the opportunity to lead a cabin last year and met so many lovely people + brought back the fun in writing which i'd previously lost. if you want to make writer friends and do fun activities and sprint, camp rev pit is a wonderful opportunity!
Ahh thank you Saf!! So happy to have your support! 🫶
Congrats!! I love the title!
Me please!
Congrats!! Your horror romance sounds amazing, omg!!

So excited to work with you!! Thank you for choosing my story out of all the amazing submissions this year!
Words cannot describe how excited I am to work with @madelynknecht.bsky.social!!
I try (and fail) every year not to get my hopes up, so you imagine my surprise seeing this notification 😭 I'm so so grateful for all the editors, and I'm beyond excited to share Portrait of a Fawn with everyone🤎
I submitted YA, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see all the middle grade submissions this year! Usually that's the smallest category, from what I can tell.
Good luck, everyone! 🍀
I'm thankful for the editors, the writer friends I made, and those on the sidelines cheering us all on!
I'm so excited to read all the amazing stories that come out of #revpit one day💙
Keep writing, and most importantly, keep having fun!
I already have two beta readers in mind, sorry! Thanks for your interest though
Thank you for your interest, but I already have beta readers lined up!
My goal is to keep revising the manuscript I submitted (get another pair of beta readers), prep for querying in the summer, and start drafting my fourth project.
Essentially, keep writing!
I think all three of the editors I submitted to for #revpit included me in their #10Queries 👀
Either that or it's wishful thinking 😅
Posted this one on my Instagram the other day: Media That Inspired Portrait of a Fawn! 🦌

1. YA Murder Mystery (shelved)
2. YA Magical Realism Rom-Com (shelved)
3. YA Speculative Horror (current project)
4. YA Fantasy projects (Gothic & Cozy- outlined)
And various other ideas that are in the baby stages!
There are so many! Ann Liang, Kelly Andrew, Mona Awad, Amy Goldsmith, CG Drews, Holly Jackson, Kylie Lee Baker, Madeline Claire Franklin, and Amanda Dewitt are just a few.
Kelly Andrew and CG Drews definitely inspired my latest project!
Such a good writer! They're perfect for horror comps 🥀

Portrait of a Fawn (YA Speculative Horror)
Hello! I'm late to the party, but I'm catching up! I'm a writer from Massachusetts, and I submitted my third MS to #Revpit (a YA Spec. Horror novel). I'm a library assistant for a small town, and I adore gardening, playing video games, and reading 📚
Very late to the party (had surgery on Friday), but I'm back with Portrait of a Fawn (67k)!
