I’ve been a few times in the 90s and then fairly recently going to the Emirates.

Bittern was having a loud burp or quiet boom! At quarry walk this morning, think we’ve lost the Gropper site to Willow encroachment though.
Absolutely masses of them.
No Garden Warblers though, after those couple of random ones at Summer Leys a fortnight ago.
Couple of rattles of probable Lesser Whitethroat, but every time I stopped to investigate, they went silent.
Absolutely heaving with Sedgies along the Nene at Mill lane lock also forgot to mention, Ringed plover at the new workings.

My mate , who is a hardcore carp fisherman, can’t watch it.
I know that’s just one person, out of millions of anglers, but I can imagine the hardcore fisherman would pick holes in the show, the same as us gnarly old birders will pick holes in this new show.

Never seen that purple fringe on a cloud front before. Used to live on the Atlantic coast of Devon and saw fast moving fronts march across the sea, but nowt like that!
