A close up of a flower with seven petals, it is about the size of a dime. There is California grass and two other blooms in the background.
From what I could find it is either Bidens pilosa or Bidens alba. It is invasive in Hawai‘i.
Spotted at the farm today, blooms are about the size of a dime.

Utterly shameful, 160,000 Australians to be cut off the #NDIS, with $15 billion to be cut by 2030 from its annual projected budget. While we don’t tax foreign gas companies which would raise at least $17-$18 billion annually with a 25% levy. Help it make sense!

New Australia Institute research shows that the Japanese Government makes more revenue taxing Australian gas than the Australian Government!

Konrad Benjamin on fire in today’s gas tax inquiry, says those claiming “we can’t afford anything” are full of it, we have plenty of resources to benefit from

We didn't see many parrots while at Gluepot.
I mean, they were there. We'd occasionally see a group perform a fly-by but, with ephemeral pools after the rain in March, they didn't need to come in to drink at the water points. I got a few frames of this mulga parrot near the Whistler bird hide.

Their issue is not about "migrants". That's disingenuous code. I have a friend who mutters crossly about "migrants', ignoring the fact that he is one himself.
The target is people of colour, especially Muslims, & the bigotry is unrelated to where those people were born or how they behave.

Do the clowns in One Nation and the Liberal party not understand that - according to the 2021 Census - approximately HALF (48.2%) of Australians have a parent born overseas?
Just how they think they can dismantle our successful, multi-cultural society remains an international mystery!

Single frame. Man standing in front of woman in wheelchair says: “Instead of complaining about the expensive nuclear subs we may never see, or our increasing expenditure on war machinery, maybe think about how properly funding YOUR NEEDS makes us LESS SAFE as a country…”
Priorities.

Paul Keating does not hold back in response to Angus Taylor new immigration policy and I’m so here for it. Reminds me of better times when we had PMs with the backbone to tell it like it is. Truly statesmen like & excellent & I encourage everyone to take a moment to read it 👇🏼

Medieval renaissance style Italian bagpipes
I am going to try and sell a set of medieval bagpipes on FB.
This will result in the kind of person that wants a set of medieval bagpipes coming to my door.
They will probably want to play them at me.
The cat will be very angry…
