Pink paw pads: When researchers Ren and Gishy first took in subject, his paw pads were cracked and dry from time spent in harsh, cold environments. Since then, his paws have healed nicely, revealing the true pink of his pads.
Worm tail: Researcher Ren insists that Gougie's tail resembles Slimey the worm, a Sesame Street character and friend of Oscar the Grouch. The subject's tail often seems to have a mind of its own.
Chubby paws: Subject is quite large compared to some other domestic housecats. A consequence of this seems to be especially chubby paws, which elicit feelings of adoration and cuteness aggression in all humans in subject's proximity.
Big cheeks: Due to his background as a former stray, high testosterone levels caused him to develop the classic 'tomcat cheeks.’ He often uses his full cheeks as a pillow to rest his head upon when he lays down. He has since been fixed, but due to his age, his cheeks may remain full.
One black whisker: While the rest of his whiskers are white, subject has a single black whisker on the right side of his face.
