(The trapdoor is deep enough that Chili’s head is poking out from outside of it.) The trapdoor is also being covered with a giant box with a cauldron illustrated on it; that serves as a (currently-open) lid. Betty and Chili are also dressed as witches; with Chili wearing a red witch hat and top, and Betty wearing a white “witch outfit” consisting of a white witch hat, a top with a cutout (intended to be the shape of a moon crescent), jeans with a belt, and high-heeled boots. Betty: “Dewey, could you hold that thought for a minute? Chili just told me she needs ten more minutes to make the flames of eternal damnation in the trapdoor look more convincing.”
