@luketryl.bsky.social Hi
Can't speak for other nations, but your MRP for Scotland looks odd. Like you, not a prediction, just as a nowcast,
Southern uplands: Tory not SNP
Posh rural Aberdeenshire, esp west: Tory not Reform
Generally: too much Labour, too much Reform, not enough SNP, not enough Tory

A 'unity rally' at Glasgow’s Buchanan Street steps protesting against immigration was drowned out by counter protesters
you are incredible beautiful
stunning
you are very welcome :-)
Highly recommend The Unlikely Pursuit of Mary Bennet :-)
Warm and cuddly sapphic romance with plenty of humour along the way.
wow

looks yummy :-)
listening now :-)
No to the Greens, on both sides of the English border.
Just for you info, Reece: it's not @TheGreenParty here, that's the other place.
Agree/ Disagree, @jameskellysgp.bsky.social analysis re. next UK Labour leader:
1) Re. Streeting & Burnham - agree.
2) Re. Miliband - disagree: his policies are driving up cost of energy in UK for both industry & residential usage, destroying jobs & making fuel poverty far worse. A Labour Liability.
🤔 Compare below with:
1) "new Scottish poll from More In Common ... seats projection from the poll is pretty extraordinary, showing the SNP on 61 seats", @jameskellysgp.bsky.social, who explains why 61 to majority MSPs is v.unlikely.
2) Others quoting same poll: SNP 63.
??
NB: X handles on Bsky 🙄
Yes, understood. It is good that you are posting here again. My posting here has declined too, but I have recently started to be more active again. I hope Bluesky can regain some of its former momentum.
Trouble is, Nate is right.
Bsky enjoyed a very brief period window when it looked like politics debate here was going mainstream. The Irish elections last November offered a Bluesky plurality of contesting voices. But as discussions got more & more navel-gazing the breadth of topics & ppl shrunk.
Lovely photos Chris. Yes, please do post here. A question for you: why do you allow replies to your Bluesky skeets but not (apologies if I am getting this wrong) on your X tweets?
Well done to Shabana Mahmood, richly deserved promotion

42% go for either Very Likely or Unlikely.
43% as above, but only Fairly 1 or the other.
I think it's very uncertain. 2026 looks the big test year to me, with Scots & Welsh parly elections. If he can survive to 1st Jan 2027 as Lab Leader then my guess (& only that) is he's their Leader @ next GE.
@esghound.com do you also post re. $SOC here too?
Life for Palestinians in Gaza has gotten worse under Trump, not better. So where are Jill Stein and Cornel West now?
They aren’t leading protests in DC outside the White House, no rallies. Almost like the whole 2024 thing was just performative.
