Indeed, one could more correctly call it the Crown of Puglia: it rests up there, on the crest of the hill, just like a mural crown. ⬇️

A central, distinctive point, visible from far away, placed there to dominate an immense plain, the people have given it the name of Belvedere or Balcony of Puglia. ⬇️

Seen from afar, it appears completely round and without towers. Only the folds and strong shadows projected by that circular mass of pillars and walls lead one, even from a distance, to think that it forms an octagon, with truncated towers at each corner. ⬇️

Yes, also because trying to get into the fields to work or solve any problem is practically an extreme sport. And this is the season when plants need care and maintenance. 😅 I hope it stops raining soon.
