Ok, so, little shit update: Recently, I had to renew my disability benefit, and today I found out the DWP have fucked me over with it. Unsurprising, as they do this all the time. Luckily, it hasn't been completely stopped, they've just decided my chronic illnesses have miraculously and significantly improved (despite no such suggestion - infact I'd reported it being worse as I've been suffering extra for a while now), so I'm only entitled to a small amount. And in their infinite wisdom, they also stopped my payment going through today. Completely. Instead of paying me even the amount they now think I'm due, they've left me with nothing 'til the 15th of next month. So I've had to pay bulls outta my kinda small savings this month. And I can't start any sort of appeal process until I receive their letter stateing the changes. And their mail usually takes forever (I literally got a letter this morning confirming they have all the information they needed to decide on renewal, and will be write to me again when they've made their decision). In the meantime, I'll be outlining why I disagree with their bullshit, so that when that letter finally gets here, I'll be able to reply right away. If things don't drag on too long, I should be fine, and I can pay back into my savings if/when I win and get back-payment on what they'd owe me by then. But I'd suuuper appreciate anyone sharing my Ko-Fi around when/where possible, as anything and everything helps. 💖
