This is a great stage of a model. Undercoat on and all the details stand out on Young miniatures Fallschirmjäger Italy 43. I got this coz he looks like he's had a rough time and is smoking an oily. The MG 34 is heavily detailed but a sod to put together. Onwards. #histscalemodels #scalemodels

Thankyou I got some ideas from the NMM warhammer fans and kind of adapted it to real metals. The AK and Vallejo airbrush paints are really pigment heavy and mixed with ink work a treatfor metallic
Just the green around the neck and headband to do,Swiss fella done. Halberd,2 swords,the base and finish the dog. I need to find a chain for dog lead might raid my Mrs jewellery box, she won't mind. Hawk Mini kit is superb. AK Rusty gold is my new favourite metallic. #histscalemodels #scalemodels

First attempt at plate armour. Not finished needs dry and add some reflections and some depth of colour. Black base,lowlights prussian blue,highlight basalt grey then multiple layers of thin gunmetal,edge with steel. Then desaturate with a black ink wash
