Leeds to Manchester is a short 85.7km stage that is surprisingly gentle considering the terrain they could've used.
Manchester to Sheffield by contrast is a brute! Some of the best climbs in the country on this 154.4km stage.

Alastair MacKellar completed this year’s Paris-Roubaix in a time of 5:46.11 – almost eight minutes faster than Peter Sagan’s effort in 2018, when the Slovakian won the race in 5:54.06.
But it wasn’t even enough for him to finish in last place, the Australian missing the time cut by almost 4 minutes
