The Velvet Bloom I had has Old Navy Gin, violet liqueur, simple (I always asks them to go light on the simple) and lemon juice. There are different versions of it but I like mine less cluttered and of course, the purple color💜.

Glad you like my hair💜💜

Call it what it is, murder. There is nothing domestic about someone taking a gun and murdering another person be it family, friend or stranger. Don’t downplay it, make it seem lesser of a crime by calling it “domestic violence” it is murder.

Ok, I’ll put you down as a purple lover of all colors, minus lavender. I’ll have to add another category for you.😂
Personally I like deep purple like this hydrangea which happens to be the color of my hair at the moment…

I posted a question asking people what their favorite color of purple was; deep purple, lilac, electric purple, yuck I hate purple, & so on. This I would call bright purple, is this your favorite color of purple?
I also had a category of My vision doesn’t allow me to see purple. I took no chances.

🎶Where do you go?
Are you looking for answers🎶
To questions under the stars?
🎶Well, if along the way
You are grown weary🎶
You can rest with me until
🎶A brighter day and you’re okay🎶

!t was an April morning but the sun locked chill away; a warm haze already spreading, a cycle of warmth heading north, giving the huge necklace of a bay promise of a warm day. Smaller beaches plucked out from the land in the last ice age would be held in their own smaller pockets of heat.

Suspended in a field of absolute black, a luminous bloom unfolds like a quiet exhale. Its delicate, translucent surface reveals a fine network of veins—intricate as thought, fragile as memory—capturing the tension between structure and dissolution. The flower does not merely exist; it hovers, as if caught in the fragile instant between emergence and disappearance.

The secondary bud leans inward, restrained and contemplative, echoing the promise of what has yet to open. Together, they form a subtle dialogue: one voice already spoken, the other still gathering the courage to be heard.

Soft, almost imperceptible wisps drift beneath them, like echoes of movement or remnants of a dream dissolving at waking. Light becomes the sculptor here, carving form out of darkness, revealing that even in stillness, there is motion—slow, inevitable, and deeply human.

This piece reflects the quiet beauty of transience: how even the most delicate forms hold presence, if only for a moment.

Dark stormy night, dark blue and purple sky. The white sundial rises up into the sky, the lights under the bridge light up the river.

Grey day as I walk through Turtle Bay
Exploration Park and onto the Sundial Bridge. The bridge is a functional work of art and a technical marvel. The deck was quite slippery as it is made of 200 tons of glass and granite. The foundation of friends of the family donated most of the 24mil to build it

Hmmm, could there be a tiny cabana boy bringing tiny drinks with tiny umbrellas?

I would have liked to be a tiny creature lounging under these pretty inkcaps today 🍄

Misdemeanor? No jail time for murdering a person? Manslaughter?
No consequences at all? I must be missing something.

Maple flowers, Sunday. Poem by Robert Frost: “Nothing Gold Can Stay”

Good morning everyone!

Celebrate the vivid fresh greens of spring. They’re fleeting; get our and see them if you can.

“Nature’s first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf’s a flower
But only so an hour…
Nothing gold can stay.”

Jazzy says hello back. We just got in from a chilly hike around our current tiny town. She is giving me the “I’m done” look. Tomorrow we travel on to visit family just down the mountains and then it’s back home to the lake.

Thank you for responding, sometimes I feel no one is listening. I love lilac too. My hair is currently the deep purple of the hydrangea, at the current moment that is…💜😊

While I patiently wait.
While I while away the time.
While another moment passes me by.
While my heart breaks just a little more.
While I take my last breath.

I stand by my decision depending on your beverage choice.
By the way, Trash Panda is releasing their 3rd album, BRAINCANDY, yes, on vinyl, soon. In case you were wondering…

The large pickle slices going the length of the buns and, are those peppers? save you from trash panda to trash hot dog connoisseur. Although I might have to amend that depending on your choice of beverage.
