WIP - after some fairly extensive surgery on his wrists and the sword, the Indian Cavalry Officer is now armed and has all his limbs. Need to build wrists up with putty and then finish tidying up the paint on straps, gauntlets etc, but the end is finally in sight! #histscalemodels #scalemodels
Lovely work!
He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
Lovely Paul. Happy Easter
If you see this drop some armour 😉
They’ll rifle through your things…
*Niche joke - gets coat!
Lovely work Rob. Great groundwork too. Adds interest while being very simple and not detracting from the figure.
KITOFF T Shirts available to purchase here! More designs to come.

All profits (£10 Per shirt) go directly to Finley's Touch
I'd also recommend going a size larger than you'd usually buy.👍
Treat yourself to a couple today.
Cheers Stef, really appreciate it. Thank you.
Unfortunately yes 😂 The shield was completely blank so I spent a while researching 14th Century pavises/shields and came up with this design. I’m pretty happy with most of it, but the Madonna and Child are a little… agricultural 🫣
Resin model of a 14th Century Polish knight, part painted in acrylics.

#WIP - I often have a couple of projects on the go and switch between them to keep benchtime interesting. Paused to do some surgery to the Indian Army Officer’s sword, so started this C14th Polish knight. Early sketching on face etc so long way to go. #scalemodels #histscalemodels #buildthestash
It’s very English isn’t it? We always joked in the British Army that if you spoke fluent Serbian-Croat (as it was then), then you’d end up posted to the Gulf, while the fluent Arabist would end up in Sarajevo. It’s almost as if Britain has a national trait of being suspicious of specialists.
Cheers Mike 👍
Model figure of an officer from the 15th Lancers, Indian Army.
#WIP - the 15th Lancer’s officer is starting to come together now there is colour on his turban and sash. Glad i waited until now to paint him but still being pushed well outside my comfort zone! #histscalemodels #scalemodels #buildthestash
Gah - *face
70mm white metal figure from Art Girona depicting a Risaldar-Major from the 15th Lancers (Cureton’s Multains), 1937. A work in progress, painted with acrylics.
Decided to attempt something very different. This lovely 70mm white metal figure from Art Girona depicts a Risaldar-Major from the 15th Lancers. New skin tones and blue tunics are an interesting challenge. Happy with the fave, tunic less so and will rework highlights. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
Best one yet 😂😂
Thank you Twai 👍
Cheers Stef. A couple of times I thought I’d bodged the whole thing up, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out in the end.
Finished “Overlooking Sevastopol” - A little vignette of two 54mm white metal figures from Hidalgo-Beneito depicting an officer and SNCO from 33rd Regiment of Foot in the Crimean War, 1854. Painted with acrylics from Vallejo and AK. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
That’s bloody lovely, that is!
Really nice work Paul.
54mm white metal models of an Officer and Sergeant from the 33rd Regiment of Foot during the Crimean War, 1854. Painted with acrylics.
Pretty happy with the figures. Now to try and tie them in with groundwork and a bit of experimental scratch building. I wasn’t game to prime with the airbrush so applied Mr Surfacer 1500 Mahogany with a brush. We’ll see how it turns out. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
1/35 Miniart Dingo
I suspect it’s a lovely kit. This is their previous version which I did a couple of years ago now. Some VERY fiddly PE but otherwise a fun build. Top tips are: don’t expect the figures to fit particularly well, and build/paint in subsections. Painting once built is a right pain in the 🫏!

#WIP - This little 54mm vignette is starting to come together. More to do on the Sergeant before I start the groundwork, but am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
Thanks! ☺️
#WIP - a 54mm white metal figure of a Sargent from the 33rd Regiment of Foot in the Crimean War. Painted in acrylics.

#WIP - working on the Sergeant for my little Crimean War vignette. Note to self - use notebook on workbench specifically there to record colour combinations as it would make life a lot easier when painting additional figures! 🙄 #histscalemodels #scalemodels
Thanks Ian 👍
