we all know I have no life, so:
Something I've really come to appreciate in the last few years is how important it is to have a community of peers who lift each other up and give each other feedback
Part of that is also, bluntly, understanding who is not a peer, and who you don't have to listen to or take seriously
This girl absolutely looks like someone who can not do the Smurf.
Do you want scans with that?
I'm excited to share that I've 3D scanned all 5 toys in the original Super Mario Bros. 3 Happy Meal set that McDonald's released back in August of 1990! These were the very first Mario Happy Meal toys.

Having received so much love for our good old #MoonChild game, we are happy to give love back to the game community by releasing the Moon Child source files + assets.
Details can be read in the ReadMe text. We're looking forward to see what you're going to create! 💚

A screenshot of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon with a chat box for Bidoof that says "Yep, I'm stupid. But I still do my best."
I threw this together with the Bluesky Feed Creator website and I'm still looking at the different options that are available. As it is though, it's been an easy way to see what everyone is sharing. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing but I'l try to keep it working properly.
Work is calming down enough that I can put some more energy into my personal interests again. I love Random Game Saturday and was surprised that there was only one feed and it didn't have lots of things that hit my timeline. I created a basic one if anyone is interested.

There's some more information tracking it on neogeoprotos.com. I keep checking in hopes that it turns up someday or whoever owns it takes it to a convention within our reach.

I've been thinking about Last Odyssey a lot recently. There's at least one working version that still exists, and some evidence that it's been dumped even though the ROM hasn't been released. I'm glad it's preserved but It makes me sad that I might not get a chance to experience it in my lifetime.
An assortment of little freaks from the manual for Atomic Robo-Kid (UPL, PC Engine)
My wife found the FieldStation42 project and I got a base install running on a Pi 4 today. This led to the both of us spending the day planning out our ideal “cable” channels. Looking forward to a channel that runs random episodes from the anime I watched raw back in the mid 90’s.
I experience the same thing with my Vyvanse. This is going to sound dumb, but I find drinking a little caffeine at night helps me fend this off. I drink a little glass of sweet tea or a tiny can of pop and it offsets the evening depressing thoughts and helps me get to sleep easier.
A new English fan translation has bounced onto the Saturn scene — it's Kyuutenkai, aka Fantastic Pinball! Find out how the hacker did it in our story:

You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.
The original Japanese opening theme for Bubu Chacha is super cute too.
Oh wow, I’m not up on some of the ODE prices nowadays, but that sounds like a steal. I wouldn’t be able to pass one up at that price.
It was a rough play through and I used countless continues and passwords to restart where I died. I’m not a 1CC level of player at anything. Even if I was, I can’t imagine I’d ever do that with this game.
It was as fun as it was frustrating. A great concept with some questionable execution.
My friend group created a list of 26 games to play together through 2026. It’s a delightfully eclectic list with several I’ve never played.
The game for this period is Gomola Speed for the PCE. I’ve built muscle memory for putting in the stage 20 password for days and tonight I finally beat it.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn96... akane-banashi ep 1 is up on youtube! watch it, the adaptation is fantastic!!
There’s a lot of discourse around here about how Bluesky might be dying. There’s not a single day where I check my feed and don’t learn about something amazing. I love the people on here and all the wonderful things like this that are shared.
This is so cool and it’s a shame it was never released.
Nope, that’s a totally valid complaint and I agree you 100%. It especially bothers me when the injected commercials have local news preview segments from completely different stations and regions.
This #RandomGameSaturday I'm going with the Japanese version of one of my favorite Saturn games, Panzer Dragoon! A fantastic rail shooter and American launch title. The Japanese box art is really nice.
This is your fault.
Yes, I am showing off this week, which makes it a less #RandomGameSaturday
Chocobo no Fushigi Dungeon, 1997, Square on WonderSwan
This little guy sat at Arcade Legacy for years. We traded a stack of $$ PS2 RPGs and brought it home.
I will not be modding this, as it is perfect. I love Chocobo!
Eek the Cat for the SNES.
Sometimes I think about how Konami took the original Game Boy, a machine designed to run Alleyway and Mario Land, and made it play a feature complete, expanded version of Tokimeki Memorial that still looked recognizably beautiful with only four colors, and I think it's about time you did, too.
This exists.
my favorite has to be unique screens for PC Engine CD games that require the Arcade Card, which only show if you don't have the expansion
this one for Fatal Fury 2 is iconic
