Currently working on wearable items for the next #cryptwalkers update. Added a new item, the Witch's Hat, and also just
put these *very* placeholder boots on. And now suddenly, I can't stop moon walking @_@

This is a really good idea. Because I am *constantly* forgetting these darn business-y due dates. How come no android or web version though? :(
I think I've missed every #screenshotsaturday since I started working on #cryptwalkers. But not today! Working on a few new things like an upgraded spawning system, with new vfx for enemies that rise up out of the ground. WIP, but so far so good.

It's almost like it's not black and white. Are there some features that get added as user carrots? Sure. Just look at all the "AI" slapped onto everything for no good reason. But good software also evolves over time for a whole slew of reasons. Bugs, security, performance, quality of life, etc.
The plan was to practice rigging and animating a dead simple, low poly snake like thing in #blender. Decided to sculpt it, and ended up getting a little lost. Like a mini trance of sorts...
How are you handling this? Ray casts to the ground? I had wanted to implement something like this but against world geometry that could be in any direction. ( That project is on hiatus, but still curious )
Debug spam in the godot console.
I want to play too!
Thank you for sharing. It is helpful to someone who hasn't made a steam page yet.
Im using amd gpus. Not tested on Nvidia. But I did a whole bunch of renaming my exe, clearing shader cache. Was pulling my hair out cuz the stutters continued. Updated my GPU driver's... And now I don't get stutters. *Shrugs* so I guess the new system works... I think ๐ค
And then I added a loading screen, which goes through the list of scenes, finding all materials. It renders quads for each material found, making sure they're visible to an Ortho camera. Got this working, only to continue with horrible stutters on Windows on first runs of my exports
This was driving my nuts, and I'm still not 100% sure I've solved it. My first ad hoc attempt was to just load in packed scenes ahead of time. This seemed to help, but still had some pretty bad stutters on Windows. My new system creates a list of all tscn files in the project...
Just saw these #my9games posts, so here's mine. Most notably absent, is #WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne. Spent waay too much time doing 3v3s on battle.net back in the day. And it's one of the biggest influences for my in-development games, #CryptWalkers and <redacted>.
Looks like you're a real gun slinger!
Glad to see I'm not only one who tests with questionable or obnoxious texts lol
After much delay, Crypt Walkers v0.05 preview is finally out!

People are on here posting all these amazing models and renders. And here I am with my sphere and lathe'd crystal ball model. But I thought it looked kind of neat, so here it is. Now the race is on to get it into the incoming #cryptwalkers update!

I'm praying he's right about Vampire Survivors gen 2 *crosses fingers*.... But wth is friend-slop? That's a real genre?
I think most of us in the indie sphere wonder that. I know I do. But I think the best thing you can do is commit to excellence. Try to minimize time lost to wondering, because in the end, that is lost time and energy. Instead focus on continual improvement and just keep charging forward.
This is my new, in-development dungeon crawler Crypt Walkers. Features HellDivers-esque casting system. Still very early days, and needs a ton of work. But what better time to start showing it off than Halloween?

Oops. ๐ฌ
Thanks! I've toyed with sculpting, but otherwise don't do any modeling in blender(...yet). I feel like I still have tons to learn just with plasticity on its own. I have seen those mentioned in youtube videos recently. I'll look into them more. Whats your goto modeling app for your 3d prints?
Been awhile. Working on my game projects, but playing far too much #helldivers. So here's a democracy-inspired frag grenade I came up with. Made with #plasticity and #blender
Devil's Crush Title/Logo.
More #inkscape practice. Devils Crush title. This took much longer than I expected. Not 100% happy with it, but not disappointed either. There is some slop in there, but gotta move on!

Thanks. I've been trying to figure out if I can get by skipping any sketching before hand... Love your work btw!
Do you sketch this out first? Or jump straight into vector?
