Well, this certainly explains the no-grounds eviction I just received a few days ago.

A TRA local #train crosses a stream in Pingxi. The clash between #urban and #nature in #taiwan really fascinates me, with really abrupt transitions and each fighting to take over space from the other. #travel #longexposure #railfan #urbandecay
It reminded me of a tiger beetle at a distance; it was very active patrolling the trail and the yellow really stood out in the torchlight.
A bombardier beetle (ππ©π¦π³π°π±π΄π°π±π©πΆπ΄ sp.) from Neihu District #taiwan. It certainly surprised me with how vigorous it sprayed its hot gasses (with a high-pitched βpoovv!β sound). That, and it constantly moving, made photography a bit challenging! #entomology #beetle #macrophotography #nature
The local #train in Pingxi pulling into the station. This is the same train famous for running down the middle of the narrow street in Shifen. #taiwan #longexposure #travel
A mating pair of La Toucheβs frogs (ππΊππ’π³π’π―π’ ππ’π΅π°πΆπ€π©πͺπͺ) from Neihu District, Taipei, Taiwan. Easily the most common frog Iβve seen here. #frog #nature #herps
The aesthetic of Taiwan is really interesting, with bits of cyberpunk and urban decay, architectural style between classic Chinese and βweβll make it fitβ, plus nature trying its best to reclaim everything. Itβs great.
I typically shoot photos with Olympus/Nikon DSLRs, but on this trip to Taiwan Iβve found my iPhone 14 Pro to be a formidable camera. The landscape and long exposure shots I can achieve with the phone are as good or better than what I can do with a professional setup (and often with less fuss).
Raohe Night Market is always a hive of activity. Makes sense, as the food here is absolutely incredible (and cheap!) #taiwan #longexposure #travel #foodie
Long exposure of a waterfall at a Taiwanese temple, with moss-covered rocks and carp swimming in the pool
This is one of the most impressive artificial waterfalls Iβve seen. Really captures the natural look of the surrounding landscapes. Longshan Temple, Taipei #longexposure #taiwan #landscape
I am back in Taiwan, and I hope to find some of the excellent #herps that call the island home, although the weather has been cold the last week. Still, even 14 degree nights turn up house geckos! #taiwan #gecko #reptile #addHerper
Yeah, I know. Doesnβt stop you from applying though! My line of thought on these sorts of things is worry about things like location AFTER you get an offer; you can always say no.
Both the job market and rental market are absolutely fucked in Australia right now. Sorry youβre going through that.
I have no idea if this is up your alley, and I canβt make promises, but I do have a job opening at Australian Museum as a technical officer.
It was a beauty. That whole trip was just fantastic.
You guys get a magazine? All we got was an email, and they stopped sending those altogether about 8 months ago.
βNonbinary jellybeanβ - so, what, a foetus?
Tiger snake (ππ°π΅π¦π€π©πͺπ΄ π΄π€πΆπ΅π’π΅πΆπ΄) from Tasmania. There are only 3 species of snake in Tasmania (4 if you count washed up sea snakes), all of them dangerously venomous. π #snake #herpetology #australia #tasmania
This image is one of my personal favorites, though it hasn't gained much response in the past. But it was really a memorable experience finding and photographing it, and that's what makes me so fond of the image. This mushroom was also tiny, and it really stretched my camera setup to capture it.
A bioluminescent mushroom, Mycena chlorophos, found growing on a large twig near Mission Beach, Queensland, Australia.
This was my first glowing mushroom, ππΊπ€π¦π―π’ π€π©ππ°π³π°π±π©π°π΄, found after trudging through a pitch-black rainforest without any flashlight. I didn't have my tripod, so I laid in the mud and propped my camera with sticks to get this long-exposure shot. #mycology #mushroom #bioluminescence
It has certainly been impacting my mental health to some degree. My soul feels tired. My only form of coping is telling myself that this is what the US voted for (including those who didn't vote; that's tacit approval of the situation in my book).
I sort of did that. I have one of those Andalucia Bb soprano trumpets. That thing definitely projects like a G sop, but with the added benefit of no transposition.
The real joke is that I get away with using my G sop in the university jazz ensemble because no one knows what it actually is.
Can I use them to buy more G bugles to complete my collection?
What gauge is this, 15β?
So 4 months, or 1/3 of a year, or 1/6th of the average lifespan of GPU model availability (i.e., a 2 year model release)

βIn the Clark County Early Voting data, we see indications of a potential βvote-flipping hackβ that may have shifted votes after 400 ballots are processed, gradually limiting Candidate Harris to near 40% and Candidate Trump a minimum of around 60% vote totals.β
Honestly, I hope the rates stay up. The housing market needs to cool off substantially (l canβt emphasise enough how substantially that is). And Iβm poor enough that it literally has no effect on my spending. But what it HAS done is boost my savings account considerably.
