Lesson of the day: for residential food composting programs, it’s okay to put food wastes in a paper bag in the Green Bin but do NOT put food waste in any plastic bags (even it it says “compostable”) Best to put food wastes directly into the Bin w/o any bags. ♻️

A 2 level home on a busy street in San Francisco. The narrow driveway leads directly to a recessed garage door at the center of the home. On the left an exterior staircase leads to the 2nd floor. There is an archway about 4 steps up, with a beautiful wrought iron security screen. The 2nd floor of the facade features a small balcony with an oblong archway lined with glass paned doors and windows. The front of the home is a pleasant yellowish cream color with a sort of rusty burgundy colored trim on the garage, balcony fence, and trim on the balcony. For years, the federal government has failed to keep up with the changing pace of our economy, and the cannabis industry has suffered the consequences. My bill would help protect our local farmers, producers, and small businesses up and down the North Coast.
