These are some of the more ridiculous ways I have fallen over with MS in the last 6 years (gallows humour):
Slippers
Cats water bowl
Hoover cable
Hotel sliding door entrance
My big toe!
My walking stick whilst walking!
Standing still & just falling over
Losing grip on door handle

Well that’s my new year resolution broken to have a year where I don’t fall over - just managed to fall over my slippers (really bashed my knee and hand). Was suppose to be going out tonight… I really hate my MS, sometimes it ruins everything #ms #fallenover

Good to know my contributions to the MS register go towards research and publications #MS #research
The gap between mri and getting results is ridiculous. Had my mri last week and seeing my neurologist in June. I’d hope if there was anything amiss they’d contact your earlier. Asked my ms nurse about this and given no reassurance
Got the worst crapgap ever. Can barely walk and in the worst neuro pain ever. Kesimpta injection due on the 4th which I’ll be having at 00:01 to get in my system as soon as possible - never been so desperate for it

Problem solving when you are disabled: how do I travel with a backpack when using my back rest for holding my 2 non-foldable walking sticks. Had a brain wave yesterday and it works

New and novel way to fall over with MS: opening kitchen door at work and my grip on handle decides to give way. Absolutely flew backwards landing in an undignified heap on kitchen floor. Not my finest moment. MS: the unwanted gift that keeps on giving 😔 #MS #fallenover
First time travelling on a bus with mobility scooter. I’m on a bus to Euston. Looking a bit fraught and stressed. First bus was a disaster getting on, but this route master was easy to board #thisgirlcan #disability #MS
Don’t know why I thought it good idea to see what happens when I don’t take the meds! A lesson well learnt
I trialled not taking my pain meds last night… now I remember why I take them, after waking repeatedly in pain. It’s going to be a long day
Me too. Discussed it with my 18yo son and now I notice it all the time. It has emboldened me to challenge him.
I love Brixton. lady outside the station belting out ‘diamonds are forever’ with a voice that could rival Shirley Bassey. Competing against a street preacher. Each getting louder & louder, it’s like who’ll win in a fight between an opera singer & a preacher - my moneys on her 🎶
Always remember my first mri. Had a large coffee before in went in… spent the last 30mins desperate for a pee. Never again, learnt my lesson. Always a win when you can hold it in
Really interesting and informative blog. I hope it all settles down for you and you can back to your usual self
Not listened to the archers for a few months… your post really intrigues me so going to have to listen in tomorrow
Photo of moon peeking out of clouds over trees and a building
Weird how taking a photo at night doesn’t look like night… but it’s a beautiful moon peeking through the clouds from bedroom window tonight

It’s been a good uber taxi day. 1 minute waits getting to and from work. The driver who drove me this morning passed me whilst I was waiting for taxi home, he stopped and waved to me excitedly telling me he was my driver this morning 😁🚘
When you have MS you have a special ability to fall over absolutely anything… as I pick myself off the floor having fallen over the cats water bowl #MS #MultipleSclerosis

Wow, wow, wow… truly amazing screening and live music at the @barbican.bsky.social. Incredible band and the drummer… brilliant. Well earned break for intermission @whiplashinconcert @hurwitzconcerts
“There is this terrible misconception that disabled people just take, but actually by taking from us, you prevent us from being able to give – we want to be able to participate in life equally the same as anyone else, and that includes going to work.” Disability campaigner Tanni Gray-Thompson

Email address I’ve been using for 25+yrs crashed 3 weeks ago. Thought I knew the password, turns out I didn’t. Setup a new email in a panic and changed all contacts to the new email. Tonight finally worked out how to reset the password… feeling very proud of myself. Never going to forget it again!
Women are 6 times more likely to be divorced or separated softer MS diagnosis than men
How depressing… I became part of this statistic last week #MS #multiplesclerosis
We are now 42hrs without water. BBC coming to our road tomorrow morning to report on this prolonged water outage. Last night a friend bought round 5ltr of water as we had none & local supermarkets had sold out. Today finally got free bottled water from ThamesWater. Can’t wait for it to be fixed 💦💦💦

2nd day in bed with a terrible ‘cold’ or something similar. Nika is keeping me company. She has been snoring 🥰 🐈⬛ 💤
