Photo of my breakfast sandwich from this morning. Homemade sourdough bread, sliced thin, buttered on one side and pan fried (on the buttered side) to toast golden brown and crispy. American Cheese slice, ripped in half so neither over-ran the edge of the bread. A Beyond Meat Spicy Breakfast Sausage was fried in a separate pan, then cut into quarters to place evenly on the somewhat semi-circular bread. Then a fried egg added, before setting the other slice of toasted, cheesed bread on top.

I expected to be disappointed.

This will be a long thread, so you, also, should expect to be disappointed.

It started with a #BOGO sale at #LundsAndByerlys for, among other things, #BeyondMeat burger patties. The BOGO made it much cheaper than their Premium Beef patties, so we rolled the dice.

I was only slightly concerned when you were cooking the sausage patties, that they didn’t smell how I expected. Turns out, that definitely did not matter as they tasted quite good!
