Today, 82 years ago, the SS separated half of the Theresienstadt Family Camp, the BIIb section of Auschwitz Birkenau. Those 3700 people who arrived six months earlier and were still alive from the original 5000 were sent to gas chambers and murdered.

NB: Just a few years ago, pretty much all queer organizations commemorated #HMD. And then most stopped. Among the Holocaust victims were also tens of thousands of queer & trans people persecuted for their sexuality - and millions of Jews. Shame that solidarity is lost in post Oct 7 politicization.
