Importantly, we demonstrate that an intact #fibroblasticreticularcell network is essential for the generation of functional effector T cells and the establishment of long-lasting protective memory, highlighting the critical role of splenic stromal niches in antiviral immunity.
We identified a new role for FRCs in shaping the quality of #Tcell responses. Mechanistically, our findings show that FRCs regulate early viral replication and the inflammatory environment to ensure optimal activation of #dendriticcells and downstream T cell priming.
