Reminds me of GK Chesterton's 'On Orthodoxy' inwhich he Reminds the reader that the church may be a leaking boat, but we have to stay on course through the storms and bring more people on board.
The various 'No Kings' marches have included placards and costumes regarding the destruction on the White House & all the gold decorations inside. The Guardian has been covering this regularly. In DC local picketers, have protested the proposed arch and the ballroom. Will post on my Bluesky fed.

While quilts were originally for persons with AIDS, I really think we need quilts now for victims of gun violence. I lost friends to AIDS, and have lost friends in this century to gun violence. What do you think?

This photo shows the green, terminal leaves, of two branches on my Oak Leaf Hydrangea bush. They had partially unfolded their leaves which are pointed and triangular in shape. When open, they will be large, like a hand's silhouette with distinct ridges.
Leaves unfolding can be as beautiful as flowers. Here are are a a pair on my mature Oak Leaf Hydrangea bush.
