Anti-Data Center organizing is really ramping up especially in the South.
They thought an empty suit had been left on the plane, went back to look for owner...
Lechuguilla Cave near Carlsbad Caverns has a world of selenite formations, visually stunning. None like those you highlight, but magnificent as well.

Another glitch in their required environmental impact review.
A black-and-white studio portrait photograph of Emma Lucy Braun, the pioneering American botanist and plant ecologist widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists in the study of eastern North American forests. Shown from the shoulders up against a soft, neutral gradient background, Braun appears in her later years with a calm, intelligent gaze directed straight at the viewer. Her white hair is neatly styled and swept back from her face, and she wears delicate round wire-rimmed glasses. A gentle, knowing half-smile softens her expression, conveying quiet authority, warmth, and scholarly poise. She is dressed in a light-colored, pleated blouse with a gathered neckline and a prominent dark floral brooch pinned at the center of her chest; the visible sleeve features subtle decorative patterning. The tight, centered composition focuses entirely on her face and upper torso, creating an intimate and dignified mood that emphasizes intellect and dignity over ornamentation.

I don't think the cretin in the White House is getting the message.

Investment in comrad Krasnov pays long-term dividends for Moskva.
"...it can't happen here..."
Excellent! Wish this could happen on other federal lands. Let me know if you want recommendations of which and where. One egregious example is on Cibola NF, Magdalena District: cut riparian exclusion fences, cattle in willow riparian habitat, stream incision. Ranchers cut fences.

Meant for you, oops.
Good on her! Justice.
Hell yes! That project will despoil one of the few remaining wilderness-like areas in TX.
In 'Discover' I now get this message:
Hmm, some kind of issue occurred when contacting the feed server. Please let the feed owner know about this issue.
"Forbidden"
Still glitchy in some places...
Fungus from NM pine forest.
Fungus growing on downed tree bark, NM pine forest.
For grins a few fungus photos, these from years back in a central NM Mountain range. From a time when it rained more frequently.
Still glitchy here...
I knew one of those SF Institute Scientists, a los Alamos physicist. He was on the board of a small NGO in SF that I was E.D.
And a war crime too, if he does.
Should I add "once Forbidden" to my profile for that extra sexyness?
Hmmm, Profile page doesn't show, "Discover" area link not working.
