Mapping the yeast atructural interactome with AlphaFold3: an open call for collaboration We are excited to announce the early-stage release of our S. cerevisiae  structural interactome mapping project. Using AlphaFold3 (AF3), w...

We have started a project trying to predic the interactions/structures of all yeast protein pairs using an AlphaFold pooling approach. We are making the current dataset open and we welcome collaborations.

Computational design of conformation-biasing mutations to alter protein functions Conformational biasing (CB) is a rapid and streamlined computational method that uses contrastive scoring by inverse folding models to predict protein variants biased toward desired conformational sta...

Can we design mutations that bias proteins towards desired conformational states?

Today in @science.org, we introduce Conformational Biasing (CB), a simple and scalable computational method that uses contrastive scoring by inverse folding models to identify conformation-biasing mutations.

We heat up the ADC at the inlet of the mass spectrometer, separate the isoforms within the instrument and analyze each isoform in one run. This is one step away from the commonly used methods that probe only the bulk stability and gives direct insights into each specific drug-load species.

ADCs are heterogeneous drug products. They are antibodies linked with varying amounts of drugs. Their stabilities are often assessed at the bulk level, completely ignoring the fact that the individual drug linked species have different properties! That’s where vT-ESI-MS can help.

Ever wondered how stable your ADCs are and how their stability is influenced by their drug-load?

Variable-temperature electrospray ionization can help with that!

I have a timsTOF HT right now that I am very happy with! The Ascend is on my desk, the timsTOF in the lab 😊

That one is nice too! I wonder if they will have any new sets at ASMS this year 👀

Wow, the set DID come with other options, I completely missed that. Just thought they had - for some weird reason - included multiples of the same label.

That’s a good point! I just checked and mine is the MultiOmics edition. It came with some replacement labels (total of 3 labels), need to check them when I am at home. Will update you when I get home and am able to check 😊

Do you have this one? It‘s not really an issue but just wondering. Looks much better with the proper source build 😊

11 months ago 0 0 0 0

I was missing 2 parts at the top, or I thought I was - do you also have a little gap at the top between the gray and black panels? I had used the parts from the source to make that edge even at the top but that looked bad. “Fixed“ the source after taking the picture because it started to bother me 😅
