Junta forces carried out an airstrike on a KNU-administered hospital near the Thai-Myanmar border at around 11:00 AM on April 20. The attack took place on the Burma side of the border, near Mae Hong Son Province in Thailand. The junta used Yak-130 and MiG-29 fighter jets and dropped nine bombs.
The Karen Peace Support Network and the Salween Peace Park strongly condemn the intensified Burma Army airstrikes on civilian targets in Mutraw District, which killed four civilians, injured fourteen, and destroyed houses, clinics, schools, churches and a monastery.
