Wow I didn’t think Vision Pro would be capable of this.

So fun to try out new interaction combos like pulling the map out and placing it on the table.

Done with ordinary.space

Try the beta and tell me what you think if the platform app.ordinary.space/sign-up

Haha dramatic action!

Oh yea very cool reference. Fully agree, think there also need to be several different ways how to execute an interaction, you can see in the video I am thinking of dragging in different directions down/up/right-ish. You never know how a body movement feels natural for others.

Ha, interesting. I actually made it bigger than I thought was comfortable in the headset, just to record the video. But yea, this is definitely an important research aspect. Not sure if I know your reference, please post if you have a link ready :)

Usually, I'd pull out my phone to do anything of substance on the watch, so I played around with the concept of literally pulling data out of the watch and into space instead.

Amazing example of a valuable non-distracting XR sports experience. Looking forward not having to look at my watch anymore and cycle through options while trying to not die on the trail 😅

The most underrated thing in spatial experiences.
Delightful micro interactions.
Start small, extend from here 🫶

Simple to be honest. This idea just popped up in my mind, the core is how to get away from floating panels and give digital elements more 'weight' with a contextual meaningful locations. I sketched out those elements in Figma and started prototyping different scenarios in ordinary objects.

A little behind the scenes: currently experiments with micro interactions around a concept of physically located AR elements like the calendar and the notifications.
