It’s so good! One of the farmers lives near us 🤯
This isn’t related to ugliness but have you seen farming for love?

Good eye! It’s a blend of many mountain images but a key one I was looking at was Lake Matheson in NZ!

I created this poster for an event raising funds for the Meera Centre in Cairo, Egypt, a child development centre that serves children and families who have fled Gaza.
I was inspired by the art the kids made in their art therapy to process their trauma and loss. Many of the drawings are theirs.
We want your art, goods and services to raise funds! The online auction begins Dec 11 with an in person event on Dec. 21
#ComoxValley + #VancouverIsland Artists! I’m helping organize a fundraiser for the Meera Centre, a child development centre in Cairo, Egypt that supports child & family refugees fleeing violence in Gaza.

This was such a great conversation!
Roz MacLean’s @rozdraws.bsky.social Together, a Forest (Henry Holt) shares a journey into the forest, and a meditation on how our unique personalities and ways of being help create a more vibrant and beautiful world.
Ok! I’m thinking about making one if I can’t find one
Does anyone know of an online guide (hoping for a zine) about creating accessible spaces? Thinking about the basics to share with a group who are new to thinking about this.

Thank you so much! I totally get that ☺️
An illustration of a young boy lying in a bed of moss with light beams shining down in a forest. Above him there is a branch with moss hanging down, and the lit up silhouettes of a long necked dinosaur, a toothy dinosaur skull, and a pterodactyl. He has pale skin, brown hair and is smiling, relaxed.
The picture book, Together, A Forest: Drawing Connections Between Nature’s Diversity and Our Own, by Roz MacLean laid against a background of tree bark. On the cover a group of children is walking along a forest path, with trees and sun beams above them, and tree roots spreading below. The title of the book is in bold, colourful text.
Happy International Day of Forests! Ever feel like dreaming in a bed of moss? This is Ben, from Together, a Forest - his brain holds onto dinosaur facts just like Moss holds onto moisture 💧🦖!
I hope you get to touch some soft moss sometime soon 🌳🌱
