If you are a #journalist #photojournalist or work in another role in the media please sign this. International media must be allowed to report from #Gaza - We also respect the local media in Gaza who are targeted for shooting the footage & images that the world’s media are using daily.

However on your main point we agree that the world’s media also needs to be allowed into Gaza. We hope you will consider the various comments from other media about the wording of your post and hope you do consider the local journalists risking their life as honest and unbiased.

Because reporting, footage & photojournalism is done by people who live in Gaza this does not mean that it isn’t “honest, unbiased eyewitness reporting” it’s a terrible slur on the work that local journalists have been doing while being targeted & killed to suggest otherwise.

We have great respect for #SkyNews but as generally agency pics have the #photographers name in the credit, if @news.sky.com picture editors are going to choose the 10 best #pictures of the day wouldn’t it be more respectful to credit the photographer who took them rather than the huge agency.
