Works great. Wrapped it in 'watch' for auto-refresh every 2-hours and now it can just stay there :) thanks!

Permanently open screen/tmux sessions in machines all around... That's another story πŸ˜‚

Having it on the raspberry pi that is linked to the transceiver and make it easier to script around it. I am just not a fan of perma-open websites

This is very cool and has proven reasonably accurate. Can you add 12m and 17m ? Also, any chance it can be turned into a command line tool? Happy to help with the latter.

Thanks! I will look into it, thanks! I have been using GridTracker for logging too. Always great to learn about new Ham software

Nice! What is the software running in the lower third of the vertical screen? I recognise the other two but am curious about the third

Yeah, I am. Can't complain. Chirp for memory stuffs, SDRangel for waterfall and scanning when SSB/CW, GridTracker for hunting in digital modes. TS-590 as transceiver. Very happy.

Sure, I will check it out over the weekend and send it your way. It's fairly well supported by fldigi and others so I am sure that information is also online.

Yes, over USB. Shows up as two devices, serial for CAT control and soundcard in/out for digital comms.

Nice! Feel free to DM me if you want a tester for a TS-590

Otherwise consider putting the whole setup inside an apptainer or docker container to isolate it from the main OS version.

No idea as I am in the LTS 24.04 still but have you checked the usual 'ulimit' suspects?

Cheers! I will be following the updates then. Like you, I like the idea but not in love with the 'tastic experience.

Good to see an alternative. How are you finding the coverage with the lower density? Or are you just using it between your own devices?

Very happy to have collaborated with you on this project.

Attention all bug botherers! Super excited that our host-pathogen meeting is happening - gosh, for the 6th year now?? How can that be? πŸ€” Anyway, do join us in London in June! Cheap as chips, great networking, great science! 🧫 🦠

The 'joys' when the British, once lauded for their punctuality, now become the benchmarks for disruption... Sad. Given the importance of a reliable transport infrastructure for better climate outcomes, this is rather disheartening!
