Lukewarm take: games made with UE5 looking/performing poorly is not the fault of UE5 but studios and devs who are working in insanely tight for no reason timelines, whipped by executives who want their next bonus.
UE5 is a great, but has some quirks (texture streaming, etc) that knowledge can fix.
