Beak shape and the Buffy patch behind the eye suggests it’s a brilliant of some sort.

Years ago a biologist friend was tasked to manage a crowd of twitchers at a rare bird event in BC. The crowd was so aggressive and out of control that he eventually found it dead from blunt force trauma
