Credit Union Survey โ€” Free Speech Coalition

The Free Speech Coalition is serious about starting an adult industry credit union. Part of this is being able to show regulators that enough people would use it, so please fill out this form if you're interested!
(Yes, credit unions can issue credit cards!)

Agent X (There's, like, maybe five fans of Alex Hayden?)

And I'd like a re-do on that Willow show.

We've hit our fund goal, which means you can back with confidence ๐Ÿ˜Ž

While the Gender Wizard tier is all gone, you can still be a Summoner or make me say your name in a silly voice on air ๐Ÿ˜†

Depends on the characters. Cyril? He's not interested, but he doesn't shirk off facing the men who abused him. Rudolph? He's not really vindictive by nature.

Razvan though. Razvan WANTS revenge. But when the people who hurt you most are held up as 'heroes', how do you do that?

happy superman day ๐Ÿ’™

When I was first figuring myself out, superman showed me a better vision of what Being A Man could look like. I always want to aspire to be the kind of man that superman would be proud of. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’™

Logan is a cool guy who knows waaaay more about ttrpg's than I do. If you've ever wanted to hear a trans person talk about games, his podcast is a good place to start!

#SpoonieAuthChat #ShamelessPromo Both my books have neurodivergence rep, and often feature characters with physical disabilities as well.

The worst part is that I know these decisions will further truncate reach of indie authors, and drive people back to Amazon, where they have no protections against the AI slop D2D is trying to prevent being listed. I don't use D2D, but most people don't see IngramSpark as a viable alternative.

Daumantas vocally stims to help cast spells if he's not enchanting, which he does with knots, thread or sewing. The Ballad of the Dueling Princess is also a plot important song, as it tells of Cyril's exploits before his transition and self exile.

Maybe forcing people to build their creative careers on private online infrastructure that can and does collapse semi-regularly wasn't the best of ideas actually

None of my griping is b/c of D2D, lack of sales, etc. I like chatting with folks, and I like talking about writing. That just doesn't extend beyond what I post here, and I don't think it ever will b/c how I view my writing and how the digital sphere views how it should be done are so different.

Here I am, after deciding to change my approach and keep my online activity as an author very informal, and Bluesky is just... Down half the day LOL If that's not a sign to not prioritize social media, idk what it is!

Bluesky's on the struggle bus today, and I'm just like, 'mood'. It's been a frustrating week so I relate.

Too often! LOL Cyril accidentally got my anxiety and PTSD, Daumantas got my autism, Rudolph got both. I struggle with interpersonal relationships b/c of trauma and that features in my work quite a bit.

It's my day off, so I'm doing some housekeeping and then some writing. It should be a nice, quiet day.

I feel like I'm trying to construct a bridge to a place I can't see. I want to be a helpful member of the writing community more broadly speaking, but I don't seem to speak a business language people understand. I'm at a total loss as to how to participate if I have nothing people want.

I'm realizing that I have nothing in common with authors who exist in a digital-only space, and I have literally no power to make an impact for the better in online bookish spaces. It's both frustrating and deeply saddening b/c I'm usually the only trans author at the small events I can attend.

Heirs of Finndrigair is a bit of a mishmash. The Voivodates and their neighbors are modeled after the portion of Eastern Europe bordering the Black Sea. Grendair is a blend of Spain and North Africa, Monor is based on Venice, and the Sultanate is a mix of Persia and Northwest India.

I had to think really hard about this LOL. Cyril would be a hare, Daumantas would be a tiger. Rudolph would (obviously) be a raven.

Chaos day dealing with the fallout of everything that happened yesterday. If you're so inclined, perhaps give the BackerKit for Project Tasman a follow? Current plan is to attempt to fund it starting in August. Proofs of stuff are continuing to trickle in.

Heirs of Finndrigair tends to be focused in one country at a time. The Voivodates are very small, but the kingdom of Grendair and others are much larger #QueerPrompts

In a classic, 'The characters will now take the reins' moment, I've discovered that the main conflict of Armor of the Saints is actually Svetlana not wanting to be her father's heir, which shifts that to her twin Daumantas. My boy is NOT HAPPY about it, but I have a central conflict!

Here are the #WIPSnips words for April 13th through April 19th!

I'm heading to JordanCon in Atlanta on Thursday. Jordan references Robert Jordan, so a few of the words are JordanCon inspired. "Time" had already been used in the past so "duration" is the substitute.

The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede. I also read a lot of Roald Dahl's books, my favorite being James and the Giant Peach.
