Beautiful Bluebell wood with a fine selection of Early Purple Orchids in Herefordshire this evening, 17th April.

2 out of 4 will do for now. Checking on the Early Purple #orchids a mile or so NW of Rugby I found 2 of them in bud. The supposed 5th is very likely a bluebell after all. Pic 2 shows the "new" plant coming up blind it seems. @ukorchids.bsky.social
