I think people who haven’t been keeping track of covid truly have no idea how much vitriol and harassment disabled people have experienced regarding covid precautions the last few years, often from former community members, organizers, friends, family, strangers, etc.

Saw an IG post from a woman hospitalized due to severe COVID & she was warning everyone to wash their hands to avoid it. Public health has messed up so badly

I’m sorry. I feel horribly lonely too and I wish I could offer my friendship, but I have very low energy so it can take me days or even months to respond sometimes and I don’t know if that would be enough for you (or anybody really)

The whole situation is fucked and I deleted most of my social media apps off my phone from the fucked up comments.

Denton makes itself out to be progressive but it’s really not…

I can’t be a friend who is there for you or one who hangs out and does fun things often so I guess I can’t be a friend at all…

I am very lucky to have the few friends I do, but we are all burnt out and hanging on by a thread. Too busy surviving and doing mutual aid for our communities to talk.
