Exciting news - we found this copper alloy collar at the illicit whisky still site at Lochan nan Cat on #NTS Ben Lawers. Looks like part of a still apparatus. Perhaps for linking lyne arm to the still head? #PioneeringSpirit

This was an amazing discovery at Culloden. Very much a team effort from our metal detectorists, archaeology volunteers, NTS Culloden staff, Ramora uk and Conservator - Will Murray. Thanks to everyone. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

A grand day out! We went to see the Bronze Age building on South Ronaldsay, Orkney. The new tour guiding team are brilliant. The neolithic Tomb of the Eagles and the Bronze Age burnt mound site are now community owned, what a fabulous achievement this is. #archaeology #Neolithic #bronzeage #orkney
