A view looking down over the edge of a turquoise glacier face, with large crevasses and a brown meandering river in front of it, with frozen lagoon below, which has some lines in it.

Another view - a little closer - of the amazing meandering river beneath the glacier face. Love this so much!

Which option do we choose - act or delay?

These are the 'warning' stripes highlighting global choices. Do we act rapidly and keep global temperatures below 2°C, or delay and end up in a 3°C world (or worse)?

Should lying about climate change be illegal?
Should lying about climate change be illegal? YouTube video by Simon Clark

This year we've been really swinging for the fences.

Our latest video is our biggest one yet, nearly an hour long and involving half a dozen experts.

Asking "Should lying about climate change be illegal?" and, if so, how do we make it so?

It can feel like we have made no progress in the fight against climate change.

That's not the case.

Happy to be back home in Aberdeen after a semester-long internship at the Alaska Volcano Observatory - University of Alaska Fairbanks. Got a nice sneak peek behind the scenes of volcano monitoring, but it was also lovely to enjoy the wonders of the north again.
