Welcome to @gpatch.bsky.social sound engineer extraordinaire

I don’t actually know. It’s suddenly exploded here over the last week so all a bit (good) chaotic and am doing a lot of catching up.
Happy birthday 🍂 🍁
Ooh now that had never occurred to me 😆
Can’t beat mash and gravy really can you 😀
Deactivated the old evil place account - felt cleansing like having a good spring clean.
Anyway, chips or mash tonight?
Bright red cotoneaster berries nestle in among dark green leaves with lighter lilac leaves behind.
May your Sunday be slow and seeped in long moments where you get lost in flow and pockets of brightness.
I’ll try to do some catching up on following back new arrivals today. Welcome everyone.
Hi Nic, could I be added as I write about what it’s like living with incurable cancer. (As well as my nature writing.) I keep the two genres to two separate places so people can follow which takes their fancy.
Morning. I've just set up a starter pack on life writing. Please, please share around so I can develop the life writing community & add to the 25 writers on the list. Thank you!

If it’s of interest I blog about living with incurable cancer and have also written a fun fantasy novel and second in editing. (Also nature writer)
Wonderful bright baubles aren’t they!
Bright orange seeds bursting out of iris pods against a pale wall with dried self heal wildflower too.
Well, November has been rather grey so far, but the iris seeds are always good for a splash of brightness at this time.
Look for colour and you will find it.
What wonderful people 😊
I always feel like it’s cheeky to ask, but it’s my birthday week so, if the offer is still there, ‘God is an Octopus, by Ben Goldsmith.
Thank yoooou and what an amazing card you made me ❤️
That sounds delicious
This workshop on living more intentionally with mortality:
I'll be damned if I buried most of my closest friends, all of my elders, study climate psychology, work in alternatives to incarceration and wrestle with a unique cancer, for NOTHING.
This shit should least be useful for SOMEONE.
A black cat in silhouette sitting on a puzzle book.
You managed better than I 😆
Started the day being bitten by a weasel. Then had lovely few hours playing with nephews but goodness, cancer energy does not match that of a 2&4 yo. Have a hospice call this arvo that I have NO energy for but too late to cancel. Jobs to do. Need to crash. Cuppa and a crossword before anything else.
Cut out and make boxy HappyToast Vampire
Here you go, a lovely Halloween vampire to print, colour in, cut out and make. If you want to skip the colouring in there's a full colour version on my Patreon.com/HappyToast at the cheapest support level.
Finished. For my nephew’s 2nd birthday. #knitting
A pile of knitted pieces in orange and black stripe with many loose ends that need weaving in.
Current status of knitting project - the dreaded weaving in of ends before assembly. Might need a second coffee.
When you realise you missed ONE word in a knitting instruction and are now going to have to redo a whole piece. Hrumph!
Beautiful, I can just see it.
Ooh will have to look out for this :D
A colouring sheet of garden birds partly completed and a row of colourful pencils.
Forever ago my husband printed off a fab @happytoast.bsky.social colouring sheet for me. I’ve just got round to doing a bird a day and it’s amazing how just a couple of minutes of zone out helps with the sometimes overwhelm. Thank you Happy Toast! Only two left.
I was one of those weird kids who genuinely loved getting book vouchers, even swapped things with sisters for theirs. Would love them now too so I hope not the end but sadly wouldn’t be surprised.
An autumnal nature newsletter for you full of birds, gatherings, delicious things and craft.

As someone who has eaten too much mash tonight, I salute you from a prone and groaning position.
Will make my job of washing up easier! :D
