My experience with stocked trout is their being eager to strike within a few days after they're put into the water. As you state, you could have found them when they were figuring out their new home. Being a stocked trout is a thankless job I'd say but they deliver a lot of satisfaction.

I was just 11 years-old when I was introduced to those wily, upstate Pennsylvania brook trout; many decades ago. I would watch them sipping black flies off of the surface with that little water pistol squirt of water to punctuate their success. That sip, if I listened closely enough, was audible.

He's such a stalwart actor. When the Lost World (1997) debuted there was a 'Walk with the Dinosaurs' exhibit at the Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, that was mallwide. Its timing was right on the money.

Shoes of the Fisherman (1968) is one to watch. I have contemporaneous memories of seeing the trailer for this film, a few times, back in '68. Would not see the film until just about a decade ago when I bought it.

Thank you for that heads-up. I worried for a minute after my hip-shot misidentification. I should know a rhododendron since my fiancée once had a huge rhododendron gracing the front of our home. After her passing, I grimace now recalling this, her son pruned the plant to death.
