I’ve been checking every Black-headed Gull in Somerset but no joy! This was deffo the year to find one, well done!

Seems to have been a bit of an influx year for them, possibly the Barra bird?

Yup, loved the way it was feeding in the mouth of the harbour in such nice weather!!

I’ve been lucky, seen 5 in the south of England in the last 12 years, my first was the Bowling Green bird! Ivory my most wanted, never went for the one out of the box!!

The Corsham bird stayed five days (23rd Feb to 27th 2016) but was then seen at two further locations heading north.

Fabulous find mate, glad it has stuck around, but hopefully not for too long 😀
