Peter Mandelson failed his Government security vetting.

Starmer appointed him as ambassador to the US anyway.

No more buck passing, no more mysteriously vanishing mobile phones, we need the truth.

Starmer must go.

We pledge 150,000 new social homes a year. Importantly this includes ’buy the supply’ where appropriate homes are brought back into the social sector.

Local authorities and housing associations need the certainty of long-term financial stability in funding to transform housing.

This article correctly describes the situation of empty homes - one million across all tenures.
At the same time the number of people living in temporary accommodation continues to rise, including 172,000 children - a national tragedy.

New Darlington Reform councillor gets battered by Greens in anti-trans motion Reform's Walker and conservative Dulston failed to push transphobic motion as Darlington council backs inclusive safety for all women

“Gender is a symphony, not a harmony. It is complex, it is lived, and it is diverse. To suggest that protecting the rights of women must come at the expense of the dignity of transgender people is a false choice.”

Tonight I held the line against a ReformUK

We regard any framing that presents the rights of women, transgender, bisexual and non-binary are in inherently in conflict

Protecting women & protecting transgender people are both essential and compatible obligations

We can't afford another fossil fuel energy crisis!
Only a few people who benefit from slowing down energy efficiency and investment in renewables - the big fossil fuel companies.

I agree.
My preference is for fewer cars, not newer cars.

I don’t think the decarbonisation of urban travel is either or…
More walking / cycling
More bus / tram / tube
And switch the remaining car trips from fossil to electric.

Yes, it needs debate.
I want to see a fair transition to a sustainable energy system.
At present, having off-road parking offers very cheap charging.
This (generally) favours the richer over the poorer.
A publicly owned charging network offers the option of narrowing the spark gap.

Even better if local residents get a discounted rate to help level the cost of charging with respect to home charging.

Westminster Meeting House raided by Metropolitan Police again. Statement: “For Quakers, faith and action are inseparable. Peaceful protest, prayer and nonviolent action are integral parts of many Quakers' religious life.

Whilst we take the planning of criminal acts very seriously, we believe that this incident is a deliberate targeting of committed young people who want to make our country a more equitable place. This raid is part of a systematic stifling of dissent.

That this is the second time in a year that the police have raided our meeting house dramatically illuminates the broader trend in the UK of cracking down on those who disagree with the government. The right to protest is fundamental to our democracy. It's a key part of how people make their voices heard between elections.” – Oliver Robertson, Head of Witness and Worship
