Tonight's #archaeorun on #HillfortsWednesday took a lovely route along Offas Dyke and back to Montgomery via Fridd Faldwyn. A complex little hillfort!

Lovely #archaeorun last night, up from Ratlinghope onto the PortWay. Great to use the new excellent footpath work by #ShropshireHills National Landscape FIPL scheme. It truly is the Golden Valley!

A magical day to share with you all of a recent blue sky visit to Meol ty Uchaf, Llandrillo for #standingstoneSunday.

And a bonus stone circle if you know where to look! A real ritual complex in the shadow of the Berwyns.

A good bit of #medieval graffiti hunting in Winchester Cathedral on Saturday.
Blown away by the quantity and complexity of compass designs, guild marks and possible architectural designs. New eyes on my hometown Cathedral!

#StandingStoneSunday is a good excuse to go through my extensive photographic collection of them!!
Here's a rather poor photo of a rather unloved stone - at Frotoft, on Rousay. However, this was taken in the first weeks of my MA at UHI which was one of the best years of my life and sparked so much!!

Emerging here, after moving from Twitter. Happy to engage on #HillfortsWednesday, #LiDAR, and any #Neolithic shenanigans. Also, always up for reporting back from an #archaeorun
