Peat excavator re-profiling a historic peat cutting bank on Islay during peatland restoration work.

Over winter our peatland team has been working with landowners and contractors to restore around 450ha of peatland across two Argyll sites.
Work includes restoring erosion features, blocking drains and re-profiling peat banks.
