My mental health has calmed from *constant* extremes of bad, to just about coping most days, with bad days interspersed, which is the biggest improvement. Body is still crap, but that's par for the course ha.

Every person refusing to mask is responsible for the worsening health & isolation of disabled people.

Unmasked healthcare workers caused Tinu to have Long Covid on top of cancer. They killed her.

Oh... And we kept it rolled back some for drinking when we were around, but rolled fully out overnight and if we were out, to prevent them accessing the wounds. Kind of tricky, but it really made a difference!

The nice thing is you could roll it back for them to more easily access drinking and such.

Difficult thing is that different shapes will suit different animals better!

Only with small dogs, not cats, but we had luck with the kind that are the same shape as this, but soft and very slightly padded. HUGELY better than plastic! We tried a blow up one, too, at one point, but the girl we tried it on seemed more uncomfortable with that one than the standard shape.

And, you may feel you've tried all you can to cut back on costs. Scope is working in partnership with Southern Gas Networks (SGN), to offer disabled households within the SGN network area a plug-in heated throw blanket. This is to ensure that disabled people with limited mobility are comfortably warm. Even if they are unable to heat their homes adequately due to cost.
