In this book, I attempt to offer a balanced view of a historical figure who was much maligned after her death, mainly by her enemies.
It's entirely up to you whether you want to read a book or not. If you don't like her, or the subject, by all means don't read it 🤷♂️
As to colonisation, her family certainly were part of Alexander the Great's invasion of Egypt and took control of the country after his death. There is no disputing that
In that respect, that of "fault", I was actually responding to your criticism about her having a family history of incestuous marriage, which is why I mentioned how she came into the world wasn't her responsibility.
I should also say, in my books I don't seek to glorify historical figures. I attempt to offer a picture of a person, with flaws and virtues, who encountered success and failure. A picture of a human, attempting to survive in their own times and culture.
