I have had careers before law school. I do ask men these questions, and put a check in the win column if I have a male colleague who responds thoughtfully. Then again, as a former educator, there are a lot of male educators who are the default parent.

I think this is pretty true; a man running a similar campaign to Sherrill would be considered a likable centrist. I also think some of the freak out is that Jersey is more mixed than most realize, once you get out of the bedroom communities of New York
